WINNIPEG: MADE FROM WHAT'S GREEN
On October 28, 2026, Winnipeg will be voting in our next mayor and city council.
We're inviting all Winnipeggers to participate in building a climate and environment policy agenda that clearly communicates what we want from our next city council when it comes to climate and environmental action.
What does a climate-friendly, affordable, thriving Winnipeg look like to you?

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
There are three ways to participate (you can do all three!):

Thu, Jun 11
The Forks
Help build the People’s Climate Mandate for Winnipeg 2026 at this community townhall. Hear from Dr. Richard Milgrom, join facilitated discussions on climate priorities, share your ideas, and vote on the solutions that matter most to you and your community.
JOIN THE DISCUSSION
Participate in our community townhall on June 11, 2026!
We’ll hear from community groups, grassroots organizers, and experts on their pitches for a better Winnipeg, take a look at all the photos submitted from across the city, and then have a chance to put our heads together and vote for your top five ideas.
These five ideas will inform a climate and environment policy agenda that clearly communicates what Winnipeggers want from our next city council. Starting in July, we’ll be sharing it with mayoral and councillor candidates and asking them how they plan to act on climate.
