The Scarborough Environmental Association’s mission is to bring marginalized communities in Scarborough together to build a network that can advocate for the environment. Its vision is to make Toronto’s largest borough a kinder, greener place through neighbourhood advocacy and community service.

ABOUT
The Scarborough Environmental Association organized over 100 free community events in 2025 (bird walks, repair cafés, clothing swaps, sewing socials) to build community power around waste reduction and low-carbon living.
They host recurring Monthly Repair Café’s, clothing swaps, bike repair pop-ups, park clean-ups, and beginner learn-to-sew programming, alongside practical local resource maps.
