ABOUT

Maple Ridge Climate Hub’s recent campaigns include running Climate Champion Awards, engaging the public at community events, and elevating climate in local politics through a 2024 provincial election candidate questionnaire shared publicly.

They focus on community education + advocacy to help Maple Ridge reach net-zero by 2050, and they continue to deliver workshops and practical “how-to” climate content for residents.

Calls to action: nominate someone for the 2026 Climate Champion Award, sign up for their newsletter, and become a member to support and participate in their programs/campaigns.

The Climate Reality Project Canada’s office is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Our organization honours, recognizes and respects these Nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are today.
