Edmonton Climate Hub’s recent campaign work has included advocacy to protect the North Saskatchewan River Valley, raising awareness and engaging City officials after Council moved ahead with changes to the River Valley Area Redevelopment Plan.

Their ongoing focus is pushing Edmonton toward a 45% emissions reduction by 2030 (from 2010 levels) and tracking/sharing local climate metrics to assess progress toward net-zero.

The Climate Reality Project Canada’s office is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Our organization honours, recognizes and respects these Nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are today.
