Laura Sacks

Laura lives in rural British Columbia on a small organic farm near Nelson. Responsibility for the next generation and a deep love of the natural world inspired her to shift her focus to climate advocacy. She spends much of her energy collaborating at the grassroots to support climate solutions for all levels of government. Laura has had a career as a hydrologist, and holds a MSc in Environmental Sciences and a BSc in Geology, along with certificates in Renewable Energy, Permaculture Design, and numerous courses in sustainability and climate science and policy.
