ABOUT

West Kootenay Climate Hub’s recent campaigns include community mobilizations like Nelson Earth Week programming, hosting a “Trouble in the Headwaters” film screening + discussion (Sept 6, 2025), and partnering on “Draw the Line” actions in Nelson (Sept 20, 2025).

They continue focusing on accelerating regional climate action by connecting and coordinating local groups, and have advanced concrete advocacy like an RDCK petition urging the regional district to prioritize climate action.

Calls to action: join the hub via their site and email info@westkootenayclimatehub.ca, and plug into their upcoming events and campaigns.

The Climate Reality Project Canada’s office is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Our organization honours, recognizes and respects these Nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are today.
