Sustainable Orillia’s recent work includes community engagement and action events like Green Innovation Weekend (July 26–27, 2025) and the Bike Challenge to encourage less driving and more cycling (May–July 2025).

They run practical sustainability initiatives including the native tree sapling giveaway (Sept 20, 2025) and recurring Orillia Repair Café events to reduce waste and support reuse.

Calls to action: volunteer/participate, donate, and sign up for specific actions like requesting a tree to plant, or reach out directly at info@sustainableorillia.ca to get involved.

The Climate Reality Project Canada’s office is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Our organization honours, recognizes and respects these Nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are today.
