ABOUT

Montreal Climate Coalition’s recent campaigns include public mobilization like the Earth Day demonstration calling to fund public transit and movement-building moments such as their 2025 Annual General Assembly and 10th-anniversary organizing.

They advocate for a carbon-neutral Montréal by 2042, organized around four pillars: a carbon budget, annual GHG inventory/data transparency, a “climate test” for projects, and public participation in the transition.

The Climate Reality Project Canada’s office is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Our organization honours, recognizes and respects these Nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are today.
