The Halifax Climate Hub’s mission is to unite leading individuals and organizations working on local climate issues to build stronger support, networks, and success for their initiatives. Their vision is for Halifax to be seen as a Canadian leader in climate action by staying on track for net-zero goals and building climate resilience in a way that is equitable and just.

Halifax Community Climate Hub’s recent campaigns have included organizing with partners on Fund HalifACT, calling on Halifax Regional Council to back HalifACT with stronger resourcing. They work to strengthen local collaboration/relationship-building to make climate organizing more effective.

Halifax CCH aims to hold the city and province accountable for equitable implementation of HalifACT 2050, while uniting local climate initiatives to build a stronger, more coordinated voice in the region.

The Climate Reality Project Canada’s office is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Our organization honours, recognizes and respects these Nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are today.
