Biodiversity and Climate Action Niagara’s recent campaigns include issuing action alerts/letters opposing projects that would destroy local wetlands and woodlands like the Merritt Road expansion/extension plan (Oct 16, 2025).
BCAN advocates across Niagara for municipal best-practice policies that protect biodiversity, prevent environmental harm, and align regional action with 45% CO₂ reductions by 2030 and net-zero by 2050.
