Sherry Wu (she/her)

Network Engagement Manager

A biologist by training, Sherry is passionate about driving evidence-based environmental action at the community, provincial and national level.

She has a strong history of building and fostering community connections, as evidenced by her building of a non-profit focused on outdoor accessibility. Her experience in both the non-profit and political sectors, including her work with Nature Canada and the Green Party of Ontario, has equipped her with the skills to mobilize people towards progressive policy change. Sherry's contributions to a historic electoral campaign demonstrate her ability to lead and inspire.

When not immersed in climate work, Sherry enjoys exploring her creative side through improv, dance, and crafting. She is driven by a vision of a more sustainable and equitable future for all and is excited to leverage her skills and passion to make this vision a reality.

The Climate Reality Project Canada’s office is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Our organization honours, recognizes and respects these Nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are today.
