Adam Johnston

Lead Mentor

Adam has a wealth of non-profit and private experience. Currently Adam sits on the volunteer board of directors of Bike Winnipeg, and is the chair of the Bike Winnipeg North East Local Bikes Group. Adam is also sits voluntarily on the board of the Elmwood Community Resource Centre. He has also written for various print and online publications on agricultural, climate, renewable energy, public and active transportation, including: The Uniter, The Manitoba Cooperator, PVBuzz.com and CleanTechnica.com. Adam is finishing is Climate Policy and Practices Certificate from the University of Toronto and working on his Public Relations Diploma from the University of Victoria. Adam currently works as Liberty Tax Service as an income tax preparer.

The Climate Reality Project Canada’s office is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Our organization honours, recognizes and respects these Nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are today.
