ABOUT THE EVENT

Join Ehsia and Climate Reality Canada for a grounding afternoon yoga session at Parc La Fontaine, in honour of Montréal Climate Week.

​This practice is dedicated to easing climate anxiety by tuning into your heart and connecting with the earth. Through grounding postures, cleansing breathwork, and a guided, visualization meditation, this practice is designed to calm your nervous system and leave you feeling more connected to yourself and the earth.

​Come exactly as you are, no prior yoga experience is necessary! After the practice, you’re invited to stay for a short reflection and conversation with other climate-conscious community members.

Schedule:

​12:00 PM - Welcome + settle into the space :)

​12:05PM - Yoga

​1:00PM - Community networking

​1:30PM - Closing

What to bring:

  • ​A yoga mat or towel

  • ​Water bottle

  • ​Comfortable clothing

Weather note: In case of unfavourable weather, the session will be rescheduled to Friday, September 11th. Registered participants will be notified as soon as possible.
