Community Climate Hubs Manager
The Climate Reality Project Canada is looking for our Community Climate Hub Manager who will provide leadership and guidance for the organization to support citizen-led climate action at the municipal level, anchored in a decentralised, collaborative and ambitious approach to solve the climate crisis through public policy literacy and accountability.
This position will play a critical role in advancing climate education and action for our CRLs and Hub members across Canada. The selected candidate will work 35 hours per week, typically over four days but making allowances for flexibility required due to travel, work commitments, or other specific circumstances
Lead Mentor - Ottawa
With help from Climate Reality Project Canada (CRPC) staff, the Lead Mentor supports and encourages Climate Reality Leaders to take action toward a just and sustainable future by connecting them with information, people, resources, and engagement opportunities in their communities.
The Lead Mentor is a regional convener of relationships and is the main point of contact between CRPC’s office and Climate Reality Leaders, thereby providing them with an on- the-ground, friendly face to turn to.
The Climate Reality Project Canada’s (CRPC) office is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. CRPC honours, recognizes and respects these Nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are today.
