ABOUT THE EVENT

We know that climate disinformation plays a powerful role in delaying progress. That’s why we’re inviting you to sharpen your skills and learn how to spot it in real time!

On April 28, join us for a live Q&A on climate disinformation and get an inside look at our Workshop-In-A-Box: an interactive, ready-to-run session designed to help communities identify and counter false or misleading climate narratives.

In this session, you’ll:

• Get a walkthrough of the workshop toolkit

• Ask your toughest questions about misinformation and disinformation

• Learn why “inoculation” is key to building community resilience

• Explore how to bring this workshop to your school, workplace, or community space

Featuring:

Jennifer Nathan, Workshop Designer & Member of the New Westminster Climate Action Hub

Ashley Anthony, Education & Communication Special Projects Manager, Climate Reality Canada

The Climate Reality Project Canada’s office is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Our organization honours, recognizes and respects these Nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are today.
