We start by making climate science, impacts, and solutions accessible through trainings, presentations, and storytelling that connect global realities to local lives.
Build local leadership
We train and support Climate Reality Leaders and Community Climate Hub members from diverse regions and backgrounds so they gain the skills, confidence, and networks to lead climate action in their own communities.
Strengthen democratic participation
We promote public policy literacy and create spaces for residents to engage with municipal and other decision‑makers, helping shift climate decisions from something done “to” communities to something done “with” them.
Catalyze community‑
level change
Through grassroots campaigns, local indicators like the National Climate League, and collaborative projects, communities model practical climate solutions, build public support, and demonstrate what a just, low‑carbon future looks like on the ground.
Influence systems
and policy
As more informed, organized communities demand ambitious action, they help move institutions and governments to adopt policies aligned with climate science and climate justice, accelerating Canada’s transition to a net‑zero, equitable society.
Our approach is rooted in the empowerment of citizens: we are dedicated to equipping them to be effective catalysts for change in their communities. How do we accomplish this? We believe that when people understand the climate crisis, feel agency, and act together where they live, they can unlock the political and social will for a just transition in Canada.
Plus de 1600 Canadien·ne·s ont complété la formation d’Ambassadeur·rice·s avec Al Gore – des gens qui œuvrent pour faire avancer les solutions et relever l’ambition en termes de politique climatique.
Nous vous rappelons que tous nos Ambassadeur·rice·s sont tou·te·s associé·e·s à un Mentor Leader dans leur région. Son rôle consiste à vous aider à intégrer le réseau d'activistes dans votre région, à vous tenir informé·e des actualités et des événements locaux, à vous offrir un soutien afin que vous puissiez réaliser des gestes pour le climat à votre plein potentiel et naviguer sans problème dans le Reality Hub.

PRIORITÉ 1
Augmenter le nombre d'ambassadeur·rice·s de la réalité climatique acti·ve·f·s, à la fois en réengageant les ambassadeur·rice·s inacti·ve·f·s et en recrutant de nouve·lles·aux ambassadeur·rice·s avec un accent particulier sur les voix sous-représentées.
PRIORITÉ 2
Consolider les partenariats et les programmes, nouveaux et existants, afin d'élargir la portée et de maximiser l'impact de l'organisation, en mettant l'accent sur la justice environnementale, la justice climatique et une transition juste.
PRIORITÉ 3
Favoriser des relations significatives et habiliter les défenseu·se·r·s des citoyen·ne·s afin de positionner le PRCC comme le principal facilitateur de l'éducation climatique dirigée par les citoyen·ne·s au Canada.
As a non-Indigenous organization working on climate education in what is now known as Canada, we honour and recognize the diverse Indigenous peoples who are the first guardians of the air, land, water, and Spirit that lives within all things. We acknowledge their sense of place and unique relationship to the land, being that they have been its guardians since time immemorial. We respect and value their ways of being, knowing, relating, and carrying this knowledge forward to inform the next seven generations. We recognize our collective responsibility to dismantle the systems of oppression that created the climate crisis and start by listening to the wisdom of the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit. We are committed to amplifying Indigenous voices and supporting Indigenous-led solutions for climate justice.
