Atlantic Canadian Advocates Community Call

    Join us for this month’s Atlantic Canadian Advocates Community Call, focused on how municipalities can lead on climate by endorsing the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. We’ll explore why the Treaty is a powerful local tool, highlight recent wins, and introduce Sophia Lindfield, our new Halifax-based contractor offering direct support for communities advancing Treaty motions.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

BC Community Climate Call

  • September Call POSTPONED
    Our September BC Community Climate Hubs Call will be postponed. Instead, we’re excited to invite Hub members from across the country to a special National Call this fall!

    This session will focus on the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty and explore:
    - The Treaty’s background, strategy, impact, and global context
    - How to engage municipalities meaningfully (for those who haven’t endorsed yet)
    - How to leverage endorsements to push for stronger, aligned local policies (for those who have)

    Join the Sault Ste. Marie Climate Hub, in collaboration with Ontario-based Community Climate Hubs, for our next Ontario Community Climate Call. This month’s call will feature a special guest: a Forest Landscape Biologist from the Great Lakes Forest Centre of the Canadian Forest Service. Together, we’ll explore forest ecosystems in the context of climate change, followed by a guided discussion on local climate organizing happening across Ontario communities.
