Since 2010, The Climate Reality Project Canada has visited every Canadian province and delivered over 500 presentations to primary and secondary schools.
Every year, the tour brings the most recent and relevant science as well as climate crisis solutions to classrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, and auditoriums in hundreds of schools from coast to coast – free of charge.
The Climate Reality Project Canada hopes to not only further spread awareness on national and global climate issues, but to create young environmental leaders.
THE PRESENTATONS : SCIENCE, IMPACTS AND SOLUTIONS
The campaign focuses on what young Canadians can to reduce their carbon footprint at school and in their community. The presentations offer information on the science of climate change, as well as the sources of greenhouse gases. The climate leaders can propose green initiatives ideas that can be implemented in schools across the country and hands on solutions that students can apply in their everyday lives, at home and at school.
The presentations are customized for each audience type and our climate leaders can accommodate primary school audiences as well as secondary school audiences. Climate change presentations are recommended for youth aged 10 and over.
