$300,000 to be provided over three years.

On September 28th, 2009, the Premier of Quebec, Mr. Jean Charest, alongside the Minster of the Environment, Sustainable Development and Parks, Ms. Line Beauchamp, announced that the government of Quebec will contribute $300,000 over three years to help support the recently established Secretariat of The Climate Project Canada in Montreal, Quebec.

The Climate Project Canada & The David Suzuki Foundation Join Forces to Combat Climate Change and Spread Awareness in Canada.

In 2009, The David Suzuki Foundation signed on to become the official host of Al Gore's Climate Project in Canada. This marks the first collaboration between the organizations of two great environmental leaders, Al Gore and David Suzuki.

DSF will assist The Climate Project Canada supporting our 270 Canadian presenters. Additionally, the Foundation will provide communications and administrative support but still remain separate organizations.
