Allan grew up in the Comox Valley which is situated on the central east coast of Vancouver Island B.C, Canada. Surrounded by a beautiful ocean, lakes, and mountains, being outdoors was a vital part of growing up. After high school, Allan completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Victoria with distinction in climate sciences. Allan has travelled the world both as an athlete and general adventure seeker. Allan has worked both nationally and internationally in wind energy analysis and development. Currently Allan leads the climate action department for his local government in the Comox Valley. He is focused on reducing both corporate and community GHG emissions in his home town.
